Who are we

Utah Tech’s First-Generation Services provides a community of students, staff, faculty, and stakeholders united in efforts to assist first-generation students with the support needed to thrive in their academic journey.

 

 

What we do

We provide a support network designed to increase first-generation student success. Here you’ll find opportunities to engage with other first gen students and participate in enrichment activities. Engage and interact with the programs and services provided at Utah Tech including first-generation success speakers and programming that demonstrates our commitment to first-generation student success.

1st Trailblazer Club

Looking for students with similar interests? At Utah Tech, “There’s a Club for That!” The 1st Trailblazer Club is a student led club for first generation students. While the club leadership is comprised of first generation students, all students are invited to join and engage for meaningful connections and activities. Scholarships opportunities are provided to club leadership.

First Gen Forums

First Gen Forums feature Utah Tech faculty and staff members who share their first generation success stories. Lunch is provided while supplies last.
